Dropping off children at the start of the day

Many children walk to school, which is good training and helps to develop road sense.  If you bring them by car, please drop your children in a safe place near the school; the Jubilee Field has plenty of parking and is a very short walk into school - we ask that parents kindly respect our neighbours if they need to park closer.  Please do not use the staff parking areas, clearly marked just outside the school gates.  All children are expected to come straight into school for registration. 

Arrangements for arrival and collection from school

Arrival and Collection Times

All children are expected to arrive between 8.45am-8.55am. 

All children should be collected at 3.20pm

This typically equates to 33.75 hours per week.

Breakfast Club & After School Club -  Children should arrive as normal and be taken to Breakfast Club room. They will be taken to their Classroom ready for lessons. Breakfast Club will be open from 7.45am. After School Club will be open until 5.45pm. 

Registration

Registration takes place at the start of every morning and afternoon session.  It is essential that the school is notified of your child's absence due to illness, by emailing adminoffice@st-lukes.hants.sch.uk. This should be done on the first day of absence before 9.15am.

Registers will be checked every day at 9.15am to ensure that any absent children have been accounted for.  If your child walks to school on their own or comes with another family, we would also ask that you inform the school so that we can ensure that they arrive safely.
