Senior Teaching and Learning Leader MPR/UPR, (TLR2)

Required for September 2024

 

Due to the promotion of our Senior Teacher to Deputy Headteacher, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious, energetic and enthusiastic Senior Teaching and Learning Leader to join our highly successful and forward thinking school team.

 

St Luke’s Primary School is a popular, village school, set in Sway, in the heart of the New Forest, 8 miles from the town of Christchurch, with excellent facilities, delightful children and staff who aspire to achieve the very best. As a Champion Little Wandle School and Maths No Problem School, we are looking for an innovative and creative practitioner with high expectations to further develop excellent practice. Initially you will teach in EYFS, KS1 or KS2 and be responsible for a core curriculum area across the school.

Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Required for September 2024 or earlier
 

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hard-working team. Set in the heart of the New Forest, we offer extensive facilities and children who are delightful and eager to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant with high expectations to join our happy, successful and ‘outstanding’ school team.

 

The successful candidate will work across the school providing PPA cover where needed in addition to providing ELSA / pastoral support to children and families. The post will also involve working the safeguarding lead to take responsibility for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils according to school policies. The successful candidate will need to be flexible and able to use their own initiative, in addition to having strong interpersonal and communication skills to enable them to build positive relationships with children, staff and families.

 

A level 4 qualification / HLTA status or other appropriate qualification is required, excellent English and Maths skills, experience as an ELSA or providing emotional literacy / pastoral support along with a first aid qualification is desirable.
 

Pay Grade is Grade D (FTE £25,628 - £28,326, pro rata, £13.28-£14.68 per hour). The successful candidate will work 30 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 8.30-3.30pm.
