FOSFest - Wear festival clothes and bring in cakes

FOSLSS will be holding its first ever FOSFest, on the school field, during the afternoon and evening of Friday 14th June (3.30-10pm). Tickets cost £5 for adults and children (except under 5’s) and these are on sale after school at the school gate until 13th June.

Included in this price will be a wristband you can collect on the day which will give you unlimited access to the inflatables and other fun activities. In addition, an exclusive Sway 2024 cup will be given to adults for use at the bar (and carnival events). Everyone is welcome to attend so please bring along aunties, uncles, grandparents - the more the merrier!

The most popular events from our Summer Fair will be returning for FOSFest, which means we need all the usual donations please:

  • Teddy bears (for the Teddy Tombola)

  • Bottles (for the ever popular Bottle Tombola) - this can be anything from shampoo to champagne and everything in between. There will be a mufti day on June 7th and we ask that children come in their own clothes in exchange for a bottle

  • Cakes -  we ask parents and carers to bring in cakes (nut and sesame free) on the morning of June 14th

Children are also invited to come into school on 14th June wearing festival clothes in preparation for the festivities.

As always, so that these events run smoothly, we need as many volunteers to help out as possible. If you are available to give some time to the event, please fill out the Google Form below. Please note, we won’t require volunteers to help into the evening, just until 5/5.30.

If you have any questions, please feel free to chat to a member of the FOSLSS team or to email

We are all really looking forward to this event and we hope that you are too!
