FOSLSS - Friends of St Luke's School Sway
FOSLSS is more than just a fundraising committee; we are a passionate community of parents, teachers, and friends dedicated to enhancing the primary school experience for every child at St Luke’s. By organising events and raising vital funds, we bridge the gap between the school's budget and the "extras" that make childhood learning truly magical.
Why is a PTA so important?
A strong Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) like FOSLSS serves three vital purposes:

Enhancing Resources: From playground equipment and library books to subsidising school trips and workshops, we provide the financial support needed for projects that the school budget simply cannot cover.

Building Community: Our events be it the summer festival, Christmas fairs, or seasonal discos—bring families together, fostering a sense of belonging and pride within the Sway community.

A Voice for Parents: We provide a bridge between home and school, giving parents a platform to contribute their skills and ideas to improve our children’s environment.
