Teaching Assistants
Required for May 2024
We are looking for two enthusiastic and highly motivated part time teaching assistants to join our friendly and hard-working team. Set in the heart of the New Forest, we offer extensive facilities and children who are delightful and eager to learn. This is an excellent opportunity for teaching assistants with high expectations to join our happy, successful and ‘outstanding’ school team.
The successful candidates will need to work in KS2 initially but also be able to work across the school as required. Candidates will need to be flexible, and be able to work alongside class teachers, in addition to being able to support children with interventions on a one to one basis or in small groups.
An NVQ level 3 or other appropriate qualification is required; experience working with children with SEND is desirable. Pay Grade is Grade C (FTE £23,115 - £24,140, pro rata, £11.98-£12.51 per hour). The successful candidates will work 22.5 hours per week working Monday to Friday from 8.30am -1.00pm. The posts also includes working at lunchtime as a lunchtime supervisor from 12.00pm -1.00pm.
