Admissions/Prospective Parents

We currently have spaces available in the following Year groups -

Year R, 1 and 5.

St. Luke's Church of England Primary School is a Church of England Controlled school catering for girls and boys from four to eleven years old and is maintained by Hampshire County Council.  St. Luke's Primary is a thriving village school and there is a strong sense of community.  The staff make every effort to ensure that new children settle into the school quickly and happily.

The teachers strive to make the children's school experiences fulfilling and worthwhile, at the same time helping them to become responsible, helpful, self-reliant and caring young members of the school and our village community.

We hold regular Open Mornings in the Autumn and Spring Term.

Family Tours

Prospective children and families are welcome to attend our Open Mornings above. No appointment is necessary. Alternatively, we can provide individual family tours for prospective parents of children wishing to join the school. If you would like to come and meet us, please contact the school office at adminoffice@st-lukes.hants.sch.uk to arrange a time to visit. We look forward to meeting you and having the opportunity to show you around our lovely school.

Our school governors have a strategic plan to grow our Junior classes and so we have two additional places to offer pupils who will be moving to Year 3 each September.  If you are interested in applying for a school place for Year 3 in September 2024, please do apply via the Hampshire website:  www.hants.gov.uk/educationandlearning/admissions.  (Please note that this is not a 'main round' application, as the school does not take part in the Infant to Junior transfer.  Please use the 'in-year application' tile and choose an August start date as the system closes on 31 August each year.  We can only look at your application six weeks before the end of term (after you have been allocated your main round school place).)
